- LAPTRUST IMARA I-REIT is a close ended fund listed on the main market segment of the NSE. The total units issued are 346,231,413 units priced at Kshs. 20 each based on the net asset value approach. As a close ended fund, the promoter shall hold 100% of the units until the lapse of three years after which the promoter will exit and the shares will be open to the general public specifically professional investor.
- Sterling REIT Asset Management Ltd as the REIT manager to the LAPTRUST IMARA I-REIT is tasked with the management of the REIT’s portfolio, implementing the investment strategies for the I-REIT as well as acting in the best interest of the unit holders.
- Currently the LAPTRUST IMARA I-REIT portfolio holds 100% of income producing real estate assets. While we remain committed to the real estate market, STREAD as the REIT manager plans to diversify a portion of the investment portfolio in the long run. Therefore, we may allocate up to 25% of assets to other investment securities to optimize returns of the portfolio as guided by the eligible assets.
